With the amazing growth in vegetarianism and veganism, we are excited to introduce our new online vegan products. We use 100% plant based ingredients; wheat gluten, chickpea flour and wonderful natural flavourings in our products.
If you miss the convenience and textures of meat or are becoming vegetarian or vegan these are a perfect meat substitute. Our gourmet deli style vegan meats are beautifully crafted and suitable for home freezing. Easy meat free meals.
We are often asked why make a meat substitute? It’s because many vegetarians and vegan enjoy the taste and texture of meat and have grown up eating it. Their reasons for changing to a plant based diet is ethical. We do not wish to see the suffering of animals just to nourish our bodies.
Our vegan friendly meats have a high, balanced protein content derived from plant based ingredients. We have taken away the difficulty of having to prepare these products yourself by providing a delicious and satisfying range. Check out our vegan streaky bakun (bacon), vegan grilled steak, vegan Chorizo, vegan crispy duq (duck), vegan bbq rack with a sticky sauce.
All our plant based meats can be lightly grilled on the barbecue, fried or heated in the oven (especially on pizza). Making it easy to create a wonderful range of recipes.

An eclectic mix of the raRE, REmarkable, REcycled, REscued and REstored - furniture and objects for the home. We started with a vision for RE; to create a unique retail environment. There was no grand plan for the stock we sell, it just had to conform to our idea of functionality, beauty and desirability. The one-off, the mass produced, the new and the old and, if it's fair trade or recycled, that's even better.

Born in 1998, Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling was the first scheme of its kind in the country. We collect waste timber for reuse and recycling, keeping it as far up the waste hierarchy as possible. When we began, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of wood was sent to landfill every year, which we thought was a terrible waste. Why not collect that unwanted wood so that it can be reused or made into useful things, creating opportunities for people to gain work experience and learn new skills at the same time.
The Edinburgh Remakery is a community repair hub and second-hand shop, set up by the Remade in Edinburgh social enterprise. Our vision is to create an alternative to a disposable society by making repair education accessible to all, to build a stronger, waste-free community and support vulnerable people within our city.
We run workshops and teach different repair techniques and skills around sewing and textiles, IT, phones and computers, and furniture and woodwork. We also refurbish and upcycle second-hand furniture items, textiles, and IT equipment, rescuing these from becoming waste and giving them a new lease of life. We then sell these quality and affordable refurbished items at the Edinburgh Remakery.
I am passionate about waste and the effect it has on our planet – so to me anything that can be reused and given a new life gives me not only great pleasure but pure satisfaction knowing I am helping to keep landfill to a minimum. The feeling I get knowing that the items I UpCycle all have a history – (mine or someone else’s) attached to it is thrilling. I just LOVE seeing a piece that came to The UpCycled Home Co as something no one wanted, going home with its new owner who adores it and will cherish it for years to come.

As of January 2017 we’re proud to say we are now a 100% vegan business, and as of January 2018 100% Palm Oil Free. I’ve worked very hard to ensure products haven’t changed in terms of quality and flavour (if you’ve seen me at a market in the last year you may have eaten a vegan brownie without knowing it!), but the ethics around them will have, which makes for a happy baker, happy planet and hopefully very happy customers! Big chocolatey kisses, Gemma xxx
Dark Matters was born from my quest for the Perfect Brownie. As well as being a long-time brownie aficionado, I’m also a baker, and know that many shop bought, mass produced brownies are super high in sugar (containing very little, or no, actual chocolate), which only gives you a sugar-buzz, instead of a chocolate-fix, and can leave you feeling pretty darn cheated.
I’ve developed all our gorgeous gourmet brownies so the Number One ingredient is lots of awesome chocolate, rather than tonnes of sugar. The chocolate we use is the dark stuff, with at least 72% cocoa content, which we compliment with brown muscovado sugar and a handful of other ingredients that go on to create our jaw-droppingly awesome brownies, and give you lot the Brownie Fix you’ve been longing for!
Experience a better brownie…
We do Pops-ups, Corporate events, Parties, Celebrations & Weddings.

White Wolf Yoga and Kitchen is a completely unique space located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre.
We are situated in within an iconic Victorian building known as The Property Exchange and we occupy an enormous majestic ballroom that was once used for city property auctions. In the renovation and design of White Wolf Yoga, it was important for us to retain the historic character of the space but to update with clean lines and a light, natural colour scheme. We love the classic, minimal Scandinavian style and the interior of White Wolf Yoga & Kitchen has been designed with hints of this Nordic influence. Our aim was to give the space an open, calm yet warm & welcoming feel – bringing the natural beauty and tranquility of the forests, mountains, lakes and oceans into our studio and kitchen.

Hi! We’re Lindsay and Joel and we opened Toyville in October 2016. Our independent toy shop in Bedminster is a true family business. We own and run the shop with help from our son Xander.
As parents to a young child we found it difficult to find different and interesting toys near our south Bristol home. We saw an opportunity to start a new business so we took the bull by the horns and launched Toyville.
We want our shop to be a welcoming space where children (and adults!) can come have a play without having to worry about breaking things or telling the children not to touch.
Ethical and environmental policies
All the toys we sell are made by manufacturers who have due regard for the environment and comply with the ICTI CARE process on ethical manufacturing. Many of the brands we stock go above and beyond these requirements, and you can check out these brands in our blog post.
We endeavour to re-use all of the packaging that comes into our business. Smaller boxes are used to package our customers’ orders. Larger boxes can be used for house moves or as a great mulch for gardens and allotments. Local customers please get in touch if you would like some free boxes.
